Join us for the 2nd Annual Fraud Café for free coffee and conversation on how you can protect yourself and those you care about from fraud!

Chat with fraud experts from the Winnipeg Police Service, the Better Business Bureau of Manitoba and NW Ontario, Credit Union Central of Manitoba, the Consumer Protection Office, and the Manitoba Financial Services Agency. 

  • Wednesday, March 18, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kildonan Place Shopping Centre in the East Court

  • Wednesday, March 25, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Vital Shopping Centre in the Dining Hall

Staff are happy to speak one-on-one about any number of fraud topics, including: telemarketing scams, overseas investment fraud, online romance scams, ‘phishing’ emails, mortgage fraud, ‘free’ subscription scams, phoney real estate deals, Ponzi scheme, and many, many more! Visitors can pick up free resources on protecting themselves and their loved ones from fraud, or to share their own experiences dealing with scammers.
